Speaker: Mr. Olaniyan Adewale Hafeez | RobotKraft Africa | Nigeria
The Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed the way we interact with our surroundings, enabling connectivity and data exchange between physical devices and the digital world. Python, with its simplicity and versatility, has emerged as a popular programming language for developing IoT applications. This conference session will explore how Python can be used with embedded systems to build powerful and scalable IoT applications.
In this session, I will explore the key components of building IoT applications with Python and embedded systems. We will explore the fundamentals of embedded systems and their role in connecting devices to the Internet. Participants will gain insights into the various types of embedded systems, such as microcontrollers and single-board computers, and learn how to program them using Python.
Throughout the session, I will cover the essentials of Python programming for embedded systems, including GPIO control, sensor integration, and data communication protocols. Participants will learn how to leverage Python libraries and frameworks to interact with sensors, collect data, and control actuators in their IoT applications.
Furthermore, I will discuss the integration of embedded systems with cloud platforms. This will enable participants to store and analyze data, implement remote control functionalities, and enable seamless connectivity with other devices. We will showcase examples of real-world IoT applications built with Python and embedded systems.
By the end of this session, participants will have a solid understanding of the principles and techniques involved in building IoT applications with Python and embedded systems. They will be equipped to embark on their own IoT projects. They will leverage Python and embedded systems for data collection, analysis, and device control.
This session is suitable for developers, engineers, and enthusiasts interested in IoT and its intersection with embedded systems and Python programming. Participants should have a basic understanding of Python, but no prior experience with embedded systems is required.
