Alex Zhang, The Club’s Head of Data Science
Alex Zhang joined HKT in March 2021 as Head of Data Science in HKT’s loyalty program
and digital ventures arm, The Club. He is responsible for developing new analytic products
and platforms to support The Club’s business partners within the loyalty and digital
ecosystem by utilizing both telecom and partners’ data asset.
Prior to joining HKT, Alex was the Associate Director of BCG GAMMA where he delivered
data science projects to clients in the Greater China Region. With over 25 years of
experience in Financial Services, FMCG, Retail, and e-commerce industries, Alex has held
data science and analytics leadership roles at Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, OCBC,
Standard Chartered Bank, and Prudential in both US and APAC.
Alex received a BA of applied mathematics from City University of New York in the US.
Ben Wong, Assistant Vice President of Data Analytics
Ben Wong worked in HKT over 20 years and is now the AVP of the Club. He is
responsible for Business Intelligence & data analytics to support The Club’s business &
partnership. Ben has wide range of data analytics experience in Telecom, ecommerce,
travel & insurance industries and is an expert in creating values by analytic solutions.
Ben has Master of Philosophy in actuarial mathematics from The University of Hong Kong
and an MBA from City University of Hong Kong.
