Open Source Hong Kong (OSHK)

Established in 2006, Open Source Hong Kong (OSHK) is a registered organization under the Society Ordinance in Hong Kong. As a Community member of the Open Invention Network and an Open Source Initiative Affiliate Member, OSHK is dedicated to supporting developers, contributors, and users of open-source technologies. They organize a variety of events, including meetups and conferences, to foster open-source culture and collaboration. Notably, OSHK inaugurated the Hong Kong Open Source Conference and PyCon Hong Kong, further solidifying their commitment to the open-source community.
Hong Kong Creative Open Technology Association (HKCOTA)

Founded in 2014, the Hong Kong Creative Open Technology Association (HKCOTA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization. HKCOTA is dedicated to educating and promoting open standards, free and open-source software, open hardware, open data, and creative commons. By working closely with students and professionals, HKCOTA strives to advance the open technology movement in Hong Kong.
